OUR HISTORY
STPA stands for “technical study practical car”, was created in 1983 to offer technical assistance, legislative and bureaucratic all vehicle manufacturers to allow them into circulation on the national territory.
The experience was born way back in 1969, under conditions of dependency and external support, for public transport sector, some bodies of Modena has created conditions for considering that with the advent of integration into the European common market was must have technologically advanced tools and highly specialized knowledge to enable manufacturers a programming free of uncertainties, errors and omissions.
With the continuous search for correct strategies of approach, based on the drafting of procedures enabling the scrupulous observance of the provisions, and with the firm desire to represent, with the knowledge of the rules and the availability of suitable schemes operational and measuring instruments, a valuable contribution to the relationship often conflictual relationship between manufacturers and the supervisory bodies, the technical study STPA represented on many occasions, the only solution to complex problems considerably.
At present the study uses a variety of qualified technicians and has provided assistance to over 400 manufacturers, in Europe, United States and Japan, with a total of over nine thousand practices fulfilled. STPA has collaborated to make suitable for circulation most types of vehicles, like trolleybuses, trailers for special use, hazardous materials transportation tanks, self-propelled and trailed agricultural machines, construction machinery and devices.
Finally the technical study STPA, with the synergy of important Italian and foreign partners, also deals with feasibility studies and promoting the sale of vehicles and equipment from Member States of the European Community.
